At AIZOME, our mission towards healthy, plant-based textiles is rooted in our personal history. After the mother of our founder, Michel, was diagnosed with cancer and her skin became extremely sensitive, it became clear that her bedding was the source of her irritation. This drove Michel to find a solution for his mother and anyone else suffering from skin conditions.

During their stay in Japan, Michel and his partner Misa learned about the ancient tradition of Indigo dyeing, known as AIZOME. Together with a team of scientists, they developed an innovative method to unlock the benefits of plant-based dyeing for home textiles. In 2018, AIZOME successfully launched their first collection, which was picked up by editorial media such as Forbes, Fast Company, and The Independent.

Our organic cotton is gentle on sensitive skin and offers great 'breathability'. With no wear-and-tear parts, our 340 thread count sateen weave, 100% organic cotton sheets provide lifelong peace of mind.

At AIZOME, our focus is regenerative. We treat cotton as a precious resource, and our virgin cotton sheets are made from 100% organic cotton, unbleached, and untreated. And because our products are entirely natural, they can go straight into the compost.

An estimated 90% of all textile is dyed with synthetic dyes, many of which contain chemicals that are a known risk to health due to their carcinogenic properties. The trade-off for these soft, vibrant, wrinkle-free, water-resistant products is severe, with endocrine disruptors, neurotoxins, and carcinogens in the form of PFAS, disperse dyes, flame retardants, formaldehyde, dioxins, biocides, and heavy metals in textiles granted intimate access to our skin and body.
